Improving the lives of
cats, one fix at a time.

More than three million cats are surrendered to shelters every year and more than 500,000 are euthanized.

Our mission is to reduce the number of unwanted litters, health problems, shelter overcrowding and euthanasia by stopping the reproductive cycle of owned, community and feral cats in the greater Kansas City, Missouri area.

By the numbers.

One intact female cat averages six kittens per year. An estimated 75% of her kittens die before reproductive age which is as early as four months. Using these calculations, one female cat and her offspring can produce 100 cats in seven years, assuming all adult cats survive during that time.

Lend a paw.

Every little bit of help makes a difference. Whether it’s donating a few dollars, making space in your home to foster a cat or volunteering to trap or transport to and from spay/neuter appointments, you can make a difference.
