About us

Feline Fix is a registered non-profit organization focused on reducing the number of stray, feral and community cats in the greater Kansas City area through access to low-cost spay/neuter and surgical services. Additionally, we rescue, rehab and adopt local cats as part of the work we do with local colonies, caretakers and other rescue organizations. We are proud of our dedicated focus on helping cats in our local area. We do not import cats or kittens from other areas of the country because until the local overpopulation problem is solved, we believe we should not be diluting the adoption pool with cats from other states.

We do periodically tag and pull cats on the euthanasia list at the Kansas Humane Society but these limited intakes do not affect our ability to help local animals.

Another area of focus for our organization is providing medical care to community cats who have no owner and need help with illnesses and injuries. When these cats have recovered they are either returned to their colony (if it’s safe and they have a dedicated caretaker) or placed for adoption into loving homes.

Feline Fix has been active in the Kansas City area since 2020.
